Aimed at helping the youth realize the true potential of mobile 
communication technology in solving social challenges, Telenor Pakistan 
announced Telenor Group’s new global initiative, the Telenor Youth 
Summit today.<br />
The global Telenor Youth Summit will be held from December 09 to 11 
in Oslo, Norway in collaboration with the Nobel Peace Centre.<br />
All business units of Telenor Group across the world, including 
Telenor Pakistan, will be sending two delegates between the ages of 18 
to 25 from their respective countries at the global summit to share 
their input and ideas towards bringing positive social change through 
the use of mobile communication and internet.<br />
The two participants from Pakistan will be selected through an 
activity which invites students and young people falling within the 
stipulated age bracket to submit their ideas around the theme of using 
internet and mobile communications for education, empowerment, health 
and wellbeing of people in the world.<br />
The activity urges young people to ‘use your digital voice – be 
heard!’ by becoming possible change agents to contribute towards their 
communities. All interested candidates can participate by sharing their 
ideas on djuice website (<a href="http://djuice.com.pk/Campaigns/telenor-youth-summit/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://djuice.com.pk/Campaigns/telenor-youth-summit/</a>) where their submissions would be made available for public voting after moderation.<br />
Top 10 voted ideas would be shortlisted and presented by the 
candidates to a jury comprising renowned industry experts who will 
select the two winners from Pakistan.<br />
Commenting about the initiative, Atifa Asghar, Director Corporate 
Communications and Responsibility, Telenor Pakistan said, “We are happy 
to announce yet another step in the direction today. The competition 
under the youth summit provides a platform for youth to demonstrate 
their innovative ideas as to how they want to contribute towards social 
development and for a better future. Over the years, Telenor has made 
mobile connectivity accessible to everyone. The task at hand is to bring
 internet to all – through the mobile phone. Telenor builds the 
infrastructure that enables mobile internet. We believe that the 
internet, just like mobile communication, is and should be for all.”<br />

The winners will attend the global Telenor Youth Summit in Oslo, 
Norway as representatives from Pakistan. This summit strives to use the 
collective wisdom of these societal young leaders to address social and

 and Internet fuel growth, bring change and create opportunities for 
all.<br />
The event will coincide with the Noble Peace Prize event in December.
 The outcome of the summit’s exchange will be on display at the Nobel 
Peace Centre in Oslo and at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona early 
2014.<br />
The program will be filled with collaborative group work, inspiration
 from change leaders and help from Telenor functional experts.</div>

Nokia has introduced the Nokia Lumia 925, a new interpretation of its award-winning flagship, the Nokia Lumia 920 in Pakistan.<br />
The Nokia Lumia 925 introduces a metal design and showcases the 
latest PureView camera innovation, new features and third party 
applications coming to the Nokia Lumia range.<br />
The Nokia Lumia 925 includes the most advanced lens technology and 
next generation imaging software to capture clearer, sharper pictures 
and video, including the best low light images.<br />
The Nokia Lumia 925 also introduces the new Nokia Smart Camera mode, 
coming as an update to all Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphones. Nokia 
Smart Camera offers an easy way to capture ten images at once and edit 
the pictures with options like Best Shot, Action Shot, and Motion Focus

Nokia also announced Hipstamatic’s new app, Oggl, will arrive on

simultaneously share photos on social networks including Facebook,

Glow Partners with Pakwheels for Karachi Auto Show 2013

Glow by Warid, Pakistan’s premier youth brand, partnered with 
Pakwheels.com in orchestrating the 2013 Karachi Auto Show, which was 
recently held at Port Grand in Karachi.

The event featured more than 250 cars and was attended by thousands of automobile enthusiasts from the city.
<br />
The Auto Show, which featured vintage, classic, sports, exotic, 
luxury, SUV, bikes, trikes and project and modified vehicles, aimed to 
promote the Pakistani car industry. The show gave young fans an 
opportunity to see amazing vehicles including the 2012 Formula 1 Ferrari
 model car.

Representatives from Glow by Warid were present at the event and handed out various prizes including a Smartphone.
<br />
Warid has a long-standing relationship with Pakwheels, having 
partnered with the digital brand on previous car shows held in Lahore

Few hours after the launch of the most appealed Apple iPhone, the iPhone 5S;
 Geeks and Technology Enthusiasts from all around the world, had gone 
crazy exploring the core, as well as the exterior of the most sold 
mobile phone ever.<br />
Just if you don’t know, Apple sold 9 million iPhones during its first
 weekend, topping the 5 million record that was set by Apple itself last
 year.<br />
<a href="http://www.chipworks.com/" target="_blank">Chipworks</a> – A 
Company dedicated to exploring the inside of the world’s largest 
technology organization, and taking their products apart – had partnered
 with <a href="http://www.ifixit.com/" target="_blank">iFixit,</a> and has wasted no time in <a href="http://www.chipworks.com/en/technical-competitive-analysis/resources/blog/inside-the-iphone-5s/" target="_blank">reverse-engineering the 5S</a>.<br />
Just like every other Apple’s product, the iPhone 5S is a wonder of 
engineering, assembling the most advanced hardware technology of various
 vendors, including the new A7 system on a chip, M7 coprocessor and the 
most sought-after Touch ID fingerprint authentication hardware into one 
of the lightest and thinnest smartphones in the market.<br />
Among the highlights of <a href="http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/iPhone+5s+Teardown/17383/1" target="_blank">iFixit’s teardown</a>
 along with Chipworks of the iPhone 5S is a new Sony sensor for the 5S 
camera, the technology behind the new fingerprint scanner, the 
engineering ability to squeeze in a larger battery — and curiously 
there’s no M7 coprocessor to be found in fact it’s really just a tiny, 
standard Cortex-M3 core.<br />
While the reverse-engineering is ongoing, Chipworks has already 
discovered that the A7 chip is indeed manufactured by Samsung, and not 
by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). By tearing down 
the 5S, Chipworks was able to determine that the chip was made using 
Samsung’s 28nm high-k metal gate technology. It had been rumoured that 
the SoC would be produced by TSMC instead of Samsung, but it would seem 
that isn’t the case.<br />
As far as the Camera Sensor is concerned, Apple has progressed with a
 “new variant” of the Sony sensor, according to iFixit teardwon.<br />
“The markings are consistent with the markings on the camera modules 
housing the Sony IMX145 we saw in the iPhone 4s and on the iPhone 5. The
 marks on the side of the module are different, but our industry 
insiders tell us this is Sony’s again. As Apple has stated the pixel 
pitch on this camera is 1.5 µ, this sensor should not be the IMX145, but
 a newer variant.”<br />

One thing that really incites me about 5S is that Apple does such an 
incredible job in maximizing their battery size in their tiny phone, 
they meticulously design the internal components to be as compact as 
possible.<br />
In case you were wondering, the iPhone 5C was also torn down this 
morning — and, unsurprisingly, there weren’t really any surprises. It’s 
just an iPhone 5 wrapped in (very hard) plastic.</div>
