Samsung Pakistan and Muhammad Abbas Baloch Chairman Sindh TEVTA,
exchanging the document of an agreement between Samsung and Sindh TEVETA
to provide Samsung products to Sindh TEVTA exclusively for educational
and training purposes
Samsung has signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Sindh
TEVTA (Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority) to
establish training labs in Karachi.
This ‘hands-on’ lab training will enable students to gain the
necessary experience and technical skill to seek employment
opportunities.
According to the MOU, Samsung Pakistan will provide electronic
products to Sindh TEVTA exclusively for educational and training
purposes. The students at Sindh TEVTA will be deemed competent to use
these products by the TEVTA faculty.
Samsung Pakistan will also from time to time provide further
assistance by teaching and training the faculty at TEVTA by conducting
specialized workshops and seminars. Further to this, detailed technical
training manuals shall also be provided to the staff to enrich the
teaching experience.
Present at the signing ceremony were Mr. Saad ul Hasan Head of
Corporate Marketing Samsung Pakistan and Muhammad Abbas Baloch Chairman
Sindh TEVTA.
Mr. Saad-ul-Hassan, Head of Corporate Marketing said, “We are pleased
to partner with the Sindh Tevta and believe thattechnical education
& vocational trainings are pivotal to revive our country’s economy.
Samsung will continue its work for uplifting the society, particularly
investing in the education sector.”
Chairman Sindh Tevta, Muhammad Abbas Baloch has shown his personal
interest in this project and has requested to expand these projects to
rural areas as well, he further said” Sindh TEVTA’s objectives are
focused on establishing a productive workforce by developing
standardized technical education and vocational training to be at par
with globally competitive workforces.
