We had previously shared a tutorial on Three Column Footer Widget
 which was well appreciated and today we have yet another more advanced 
version of the same widget. This new widget can become three column, 
four column or with as many columns as you wish. Further this new footer
 widget has some great CSS effects added to it which makes it even 
better. First see a demo to know what’s so different about it.<br />

First
 we will add the CSS code to your blogger templates and then the HTML.

You can observe that there a 
total of four columns by default and you can add as many widgets as you 
want to each column. If you wish to increase or decrease the number of 
vertical columns then follow the steps below.</div>

How to Customize the Widget?</h4>

Well
 I will keep it simple. I think the colors and overall size and padding 
and margining are just perfect. The only thing that you will need to 
adjust according to your template is the width of the widget and the 
number of vertical columns. </div>
1.  In order to reduce or increase the overall width of the widget simply change <b><span style="color: green;">width: 960px;</span></b> <br />

Remember that <b>lowerbar#</b> refers to the column number. So if you want to add a fifth column then simply replace  <b>lowerbar#</b> with <b>lowerbar5. </b><br />
After you have added the fifth column then remember to change <b><span style="color: #0080ff;">width: 23%;</span></b> with <b><span style="color: #0080ff;">width: 17%;</span></b><br />
You
 will repeat step 3 for as many columns as you wish to create. But three
 and four and five columns are a standard. Increasing them will make 
things look ugly.<br />

Telenor recently kicked off a campaign (read war) against all other 
operators by accusing them of stealing balance from mobile phone users.<br />
Telenor, with its blunt TVCs, claimed that all operators steal 
balance of their customers while Telenor, according to its TVC, is the 
only operator with most honest and transparent practices.<br />
In response to Telenor, Ufone has come up with a service that sends 
customers one SMS a day with daily summary of all the costs and charges 
that were deducted from the account on the previous day.<br />
This service, called Hisaab SMS, is sent to customers daily with not 
only call and SMS costs but details of all charges associated with any 
value added services (that a customer is subscribed to) are also shared.<br />

Most importantly, Hisaab SMS is free of charge and all Ufone prepaid 
customers are automatically subscribed to the service. Though they can 
unsubscribe it by calling helpline.<br />
Unlike Telenor – that just claimed to be the most honest operator – 
Ufone has shown us the perfect example of what the honesty and 
transparency is.<br />
We will have to see if Telenor has guts to be transparent enough to 
its customers by starting a similar service that clearly communicates 
all the charges that are deducted from customers?<br />

Sony has announced its first phablet targeted towards the more modest
 households and audiences in the new T2 Ultra. The phablet comes with a 
6.1″ display, a quad-core SnapDragon processor and a 13 megapixel 
camera.<br />

The phone comes with Sony’s TRILUMINOS and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 
technologies, apart from carrying 720p resolution. Like other Sony 
ultra-large smartphones, this one isn’t water-proof but will instead 
come in either single-sim or dual-sim configurations<br />

Underneath, a quad-core SnapDragon MSM8298 processor clocked at 
1.4Ghz, along with 1 GB worth RAM, Adreno 305 GPU and 8 GB internal 
storage, which is also expandable.<br />
Around the back is a 13 megapixel Exmor RS camera with Full HD video 
recording at 30fps. A 1.1 mp Exmor R front-facer can also be found.<br />

Connectivity options include NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, Wi-Fi and 
4G LTE. The T2 Ultra will be available in Black, White and Purple.<br />

Sony is announcing a new budget-phone for the music-loving crowd with
 the Xperia E1. The phone is its first in a long time to come with a 
dedicated Walkman key and a crazy loud loudspeaker.<br />

The display you get upfront is 4″ large and comes with uninspiring 
800 x 480 resolution, which only reaffirms the phone’s starter status in
 the Xperia line-up. The 12mm thick body and the absence of a 
front-facing camera further clears any doubts left.<br />
Upon scratching the surface (just kidding) there is a 1.2Ghz 
dual-core SnapDragon MSM8210 processor with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB 
expandable storage.<br />

Around the back is a 3 mp camera with WVGA video recording. The 
biggest attraction there is the gargantuan loudspeaker capable of 
emitting sounds as much as 100dB loud. Coupled with that are the 
shake-to-shuffle controls and a dedicated Walkman key.<br />

Mobile phone companies have approached Pakistan Telecommunication 
Authority against illegal raids and arrests of franchisees across 
Karachi.<br />

Law Enforcement Agencies (LAEs) mainly the CID officials have been 
raiding cellular franchises in Karachi in the name of curbing sale of 
illegal SIMs, told RexHacker a high level official of a cellular 
company.<br />

Cellular companies, in response to the situation, has written a 
letter to PTA chairman explaining him the situation and requesting the 
authority to intervene for the sake of industry.<br />

Cellular companies are of the view that after deployment of <a href="http://rexhacker.blogspot.com/2013/11/zong-starts-biometric-verification-of.html" target="_blank">biometric verification system</a>
 the chances of illegal sale of SIMs are almost none, however, 
franchises of cellular phone operators in Karachi are being harassed and
 threatened by CID officials.<br />

As many as 15 to 20 franchise owners were targeted by CIDs officials 
in Karachi and a few of them were arrested, detained and beaten 
brutally.<br />

Even worse, as claimed by cellular companies, CID demanded extortion 
of Rs 0.5 million to Rs 1 million for their release. Majority them were 
released in a day or two after getting the extortion money from 
franchisees.<br />

Cellular companies said that they have allowed LAEs to monitor / 
check / inspect any or all the equipment that could be used for illegal 
sale of SIMs, however, arrests and then demand for extortion for the 
release of franchisees is senseless.<br />

The letter – written by cellular operators to PTA chief — said, “The 
government is going to hold auction for “Next Generation Technology” 
licenses but its LEAs creating hurdles in the sales channels of mobile 
phone companies. In this way, how the government could ensure the 
compatible business climate for cellular phone operators if it expects 
billion of dollar investment.”<br />

Cellular phone companies mentioned that their officials help out LEAs
 for providing them with timely information about the criminals – 
through call records  — to curb the crime and terrorists activities but 
the attitude of LEAs particularly CID, in contrast, is discouraging for 
their business on other hand.<br />

Officials of the cellular operators have raised questions that if the
 CID officials should be made aware of the fact that no franchise can 
sell illegal SIMs now. As per new <a href="http://rexhacker.blogspot.com/2013/11/zong-starts-biometric-verification-of.html" target="_blank">Biometric Verification system</a>
 — prescribed by PTA and deployed across all franchises in Karachi – 
SIMs are activated only after CNIC of customers is verified through 
thumb impression that is matched with NADRA’s record in real time.</div>

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Note 3 along with Galaxy Gear 
Smartwatch in Pakistan. It’s a big phone with a big price tag, which 
narrows the target market but still it is one of the best Android 
smartphones available in the market.<br />
We have had the chance to get our hands on this monster for reviewing purposes.<br />

Just like its predecessors Note 3 is a very large phone (read 
phablet). Every year Samsung increase 0.2 inches in the screen size; 
starting with the <a href="http://propakistani.pk/2012/03/21/galaxy-note-to-be-showcased-in-lahore-karachi/" target="_blank">original Note</a> was 5.3 inches, <a href="http://propakistani.pk/2013/01/24/galaxy-note-2-review/" target="_blank">Note II</a>
 was 5.5 inches and now the Note 3 has a 5.7 inches screen. It is around
 5.95 inches tall, 3.1 inches wide and weighs about 168 grams.<br />
Surprisingly the phone is almost the same size and even thinner (0.33
 inches) & lighter than Note 2, thanks to the narrower bezels.<br />
Once again Samsung has decided to stick to the plastic, but this time
 it’s different and pleasantly a lot little better. Note 3 has less 
rounded edges, much like the original Note. On the front it has a very 
nice pattern and the backplate now has a faux leather appearance.<br />

Sadly the frame is still made of cheap plastic, though it has a book pages like texture which also helps for a stronger grip.<br />

The placement of sensors, keys and cameras is as usual. Above the screen
 we have multicolor notifications LED, ear speaker, light sensors and a 2
 megapixel camera. Below the screen there is well crafted physical home 
button along with two LED touch keys.<br />

Power/Lock key is placed on the top right corner of the frame and the
 volume rocker is on the opposite side. On the bottom there is the mic, 
microUSB 3.0 port, speaker grille, and the legacy S pen slot. On the top
 there is IR blaster and 3.5mm headphones jack.<br />
The back side features 13 megapixel primary camera along with single 
LED flash light along with the shiny Samsung logo embossed into the 
backplate. Though the backplate is made of polycarbonate plastic but 
Samsung has managed to give it a leather like feel, while the fake 
stitches manage to fool the first time user.<br />
Under the hood there are slots for microSIM, microSD card and a 
3200mAh battery. Unlike the Galaxy Note 2 the NFC antenna is now 
embedded into the battery.<br />

Despite the fact that it is a big (reader too big) phone and still 
all made of plastic, Galaxy Note 3 is undoubtedly the best looking 
Galaxy device from Samsung. It takes some time to get used to and if you
 have big hands that’s a blessing otherwise have your both hands at the 
ready all the time.<br />
Galaxy Note 3 can fit easily in your jeans or even in the dress pant 
pocket but it looks terrible. A Jacket pocket would be fine though and 
same goes with ladies handbags.<br />
<h4>
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Hardware:</span></h4>
Galaxy Note 3 has simply the best processing power if compared to all
 other android devices available in the market, thanks to combination of
 quad-core processors and 3GB of RAM; which makes it lightning fast.<br />
Note 3 has a gorgeous 5.7 inches screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 
1,080 (386 ppi). The colors are vibrant that enables the sun light 
readability pretty amazing, not to mention that the screen is 
ultra-responsive and you can use it wearing gloves too.<br />
Galaxy Note 3 comes with a primary 13-megapixel shooter and secondary
 2-megapixel camera for video calling. We will discuss about it in 
detail shortly.<br />
The two major changes in the Galaxy Note 3 are microUSB 3.0 port and 
360° S pen stylus. The new USB port allows faster charging and data 
transfer and the new stylus design makes it easy to push the pen back in
 its position as you don’t have to check the correct side.<br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;">Software & UI:</span></h4>
Note 3 comes with Android Jelly Bean 4.3 out of the box, a KitKat 
upgrade for the device is also planned. On top of Android it features 
the familiar TouchWiz UI. Which is again very bulky but due to the high 
processing power you won’t feel any lag.<br />

Samsung has refined the software from the previous iteration and 
added some new and unique features like animated lock screen wallpaper, 
short animations while opening S apps and Air Command.<br />
The usual S apps like S Voice, S Planner, S Health and Samsung Hub 
are there, with a new addition of Flipboard like application called My 
Magazine. Galaxy Note 3 also features all the fancy eye-tracking 
features as well as the Multi Window functionality, where you can open 
and look at two apps at the same time.<br />

Have a look at some of the benchmarks, but also keep in mind that <a href="http://propakistani.pk/2013/10/04/samsung-htc-lg-and-asus-caught-tempering-benchmark-apps-to-appear-better/" target="_blank">Samsung was caught manipulating the benchmarking scores</a>.
 So these number might not be correct but still the real performance of 
this device is extraordinary, thanks to the premium hardware.<br />

Samsung has improved the S pen in terms of design and usage from the 
previous iteration. Though the placement of button and size of pen is 
almost the same, but now it’s easier to pull and push the pen back in 
its slot, thanks to the 360° top. The S Pen stylus is powered by Wacom’s
 digitizer technology which gives a very accurate writing experience.<br />
The newest addition in S Pen software is the Air Command pop up menu,
 as soon as you remove the stylus a circular menu pops up with five 
quick access shortcuts to Action Memo, Scrap Booker, Screen Write, S 
Finder and Pen Window.<br />

As usual Galaxy Note 3 is equipped with two cameras, the primary 
13-megapixel BSI shooter along with a single LED flash light and 
2-megapixel front facing camera.<br />
The primary camera can take photos of up to 4128×3096 pixels.<br />
The camera application is based on the Samsung Galaxy Camera 
interface, you can record video and shot still images from a single 
viewfinder and it may take a while to get used to this interface.<br />
The one noteworthy change is the Mode button, right below the shutter
 key; pressing it brings a carousel with different shooting modes. To 
make it easier to understand every mode has a descriptive image and 
text.<br />
Galaxy Note 3 also features Surround shot (Photo Sphere) which 
creates spherical panorama just like Google Street view, other than 
these fancy modes there are many color/picture effects available and you
 can download more. You can also apply these effects/filters after 
taking a photo.<br />
In the daylight and good lighting conditions, images come out sharp 
with accurate color balance and depth, but the camera seems to be 
struggling in low light.<br />
Note 3 is capable of recording video at the rate of 30 frames per 
second or full HD 1080p video at 60 frames per second. It also features 
the audio zoom feature which enhances the voice of distant 
objects/people.<br />
The overall quality of videos played on the device or computer is 
very good but keep in mind that if you are recording videos then you 
will soon need a bigger memory card.<br />

Note 3 is packed with a big 3200mAh battery, which should provide a 
decent backup. Unfortunately the unit we received had a faulty battery 
or was it due to some software bug, causing the battery to drain so 
fast.<br />
In our tests the battery didn’t last for more than 4 hours while just
 using WiFi for browsing or playing a game with very low brightness and

but surprisingly the company soon reduced its price to Rs. 70,000 and do

Galaxy Note 3 is available in 3 colors; Black, white and pink with one year warranty all over Pakistan.<br />
It merits mentioning here that this phone is also available in the 
grey market, which is of course without warranty at a price of Rs.
