Typically, when you think of laptops with extra-long battery life, 
its the MacBooks which come to mind first and not their more-common 
Windows rivals but that is about to change now with the Toshiba 
Kirabook.<br />

The ultrabook, with a little help from Intel Haswell processors, has a
 22 hour long battery life, that too in a razer-thin design.<br />

Upfront, you get a 13.3 inch non-touch enabled display with 1366 x 
768 pixel resolution, one of the factors in improving battery life but 
you may also find a 2560 x 1440 res. model.<br />

Under the hood, you get a 4th-generation Intel Core i5 Haswell 
processor, 8 GB worth storage and a 128 GB SSD. It also comes with 
Windows 8.1 pre-installed.<br />

With a battery life like this, you might’ve expected the Kirabook to 
be an ultrabook just by name but that is not the case. The laptop weighs
 just 1.12kg.<br />

Prices start at $1446 for the V634 model with 22 hour battery life, 
while the V834 which will come with a touchscreen display but much less 
attractive 14 hour battery life can be bought for $1530.<br />

This is a lot of money but then again, Windows 8 laptop with a 10 
hour battery life is rare nowadays, let alone be a 22 hour one.</div>

BlackBerry is going through times of uncertainty right now, a thing 
which reflects to its fullest in its latest creation, the P’9982. The 
smartphone, which is basically a Z10 underneath just crafted by Porsche Design costs $2400 and will be available by the end of November. You can’t get one though.<br />

With only 500 ever to be made, the P’9982 comes in a much more 
luxurious package (box seems to be an inappropriate word here), which 
also contains a certificate of authentication and a BBM pin code, which 
upon entering displays a special icon on your profile, shouting to your 
world your incredible achievement (and flamboyant lifestyle).

Beneath the Porsche Design goodness – which consists of a 
first-grade satin-finished stainless steel design – lies the usual 
stuff: a 1.5Ghz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB
 worth internal storage, which is expandable by up to 64 GB. The last of
 these two specs are improvements but that’s about it. 
<br />
8 megapixel camera, capable of shooting 1080p video can be found 
at the back but we naturally believe you won’t use it often. Apart from 
the 4G LTE connectivity, there isn’t much to right home about.
<br />
Lastly, for those of you who still find the P’9982 an 
average-looking phone, there will also be an even more limited (and 
bonkers) crocodile-leather model.
<br />
Still, in these times of uncertainty and worries, a normal mind always wonders what compelled BlackBerry to made <i>this</i>.
<br />
It’s a good thing that they made only 500 units. Good for humanity, good for them.</div>

 Cancer Hospital and Research Centre that is aimed at creating awareness
 on breast cancer, its symptoms and early diagnosis.<br />

Studies have shown that early detection of breast cancer can result 
in a survival rate of over 90%. Unfortunately, Pakistan has the highest 
incidence of breast cancer in Asia. Although it is a completely curable 
form of Cancer if diagnosed timely and as in most of the critical cases 
reported, the patients were unable to identify the problem just because 
of not being aware of it.<br />

Warid’s female staff were trained to volunteer to spread the ‘Think Pink’ thought.<br />

After coming under fire in recent times from both public and 
governments for not making the internet safer, Google, with the help of 
Microsoft’s ‘picture detection technology’ has announced that it will be
 taking some drastic steps to free the internet off of sexual child 
imagery.<br />

The companies’ Eric Schmidt announced the new measures in an opinion 
piece on Monday, and said that around a hundred thousand such webpages 
have already been wiped out. He also announced that the search engine 
now displays new warning signals upon accessing another 13,000 
potentially inappropriate webpages. Those obviously make it clear to the
 user, if they’re not that already, that such activity is purely illegal
 and unethical.<br />

In order to counter such a widespread problem, Schmidt told that his 
company has already employed a staff of as much as 200 people. The staff
 personally reviews every single reported image because, as Schmidt 
says, computers aren’t reliable enough to do this job on their own.<br />

He also reiterated this fact that while Google is doing its utmost to
 make the internet a safer and more accessible place, the rate at which 
this inappropriate stuff is finding its way on the web is increasing at 
an alarming rate too. They, however, want all the people regardless of 
their location to understand the message and due to that the changes 
will be implemented in more than 150 languages.<br />
