Mobilink has partnered with Nokia to launch its first customized 
mobile handset providing customers with exclusive access to customized 
content, value added services and multimedia.<br />
As part of this offer, Mobilink customers purchasing the Nokia Lumia 
925 from select retail outlets will be able to utilize their handsets to
 access wallpapers, ringtones, splash screen as well as various online 
resources.<br />
Moied Javeed Director Marketing Mobilink highlighted, “The launch of 
the customized Nokia Lumia 925 marks the introduction of our first ever 
phone exclusively customized for Mobilink’s customers. The release of 
this smartphone supports Mobilink’s vision to innovate and provide our 
customers with the most unique cellular experience in Pakistan.”<br />

QMobile has outed a new device in its Noir series of Android 
smartphones and the new model is called the Noir A700. You probably 
would’ve already seen it on TV until now.<br />
Noir A700 comes with a 5.3″ display, a 1.26Ghz quad-core processor. 
On the back there is an 8 megapixel camera, followed by a 1.3 megapixel 
camera at the front.<br />
The 5.3″ display is of qHD resolution, which is a bit of a shame 
because we’ve seen cheaper and smaller phones with HD resolution by now.
 Pixel Density should be quite modest too.<br />
Noir A700 is 8.3mm thick.<br />
Beneath the surface lies a quad-core 1.2Ghz processor along with 1 GB RAM. The amount of storage is set at 4 GB expandable.<br />
Your connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS 
and microUSB. Amount of battery capacity is 3000 mAh which should last 
long enough.<br />
The price isn’t bad too. Noir A700 is available for 21,500 PKR which 
isn’t all that much compared to international flagships with specs that 
“sound” similar. Having said this, you can still find a better deal than
 this too.<br />
Even the Noir A600 or the President G9 smartphones with quite similar
 specs come with a better display, yet at a cheaper price. It, then, is 
probably better to do your own research before chunking out a large 
amount of money on any of these devices as all of them come with their 
own advantages and shortcomings like any other phone.</div>

Huawei has unveiled its mid-range Ascend G610 Smartphone that supports dual SIMs simultaneously.<br />
Ascend G610 features a 5-inch IPS QHD (540 x 960 pixels) display. 
Notably, it is a dual-SIM handset with GSM+GSM and also supports 3G.<br />
Ascend G610 Smartphone is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor, and 
1GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM, along with expandable storage of up to 32GB

Way back in July, Samsung was caught rigging benchmark scores for its Galaxy S4 flagship smartphone.

Three days ago, that happened again, this time in the case of the <a href="http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2013/10/galaxy-note-3s-benchmarking-adjustments-inflate-scores-by-up-to-20/" target="_blank">Note 3</a>.
 That, coupled with it getting caught posting fake reviews on HTC’s user
 reviews page must’ve tarnished its image to a lot of extent but now, 
its looking like the other companies aren’t any good either.

According to a new and detailed report by <a href="http://www.anandtech.com/show/7384/state-of-cheating-in-android-benchmarks" target="_blank">AnandTech</a>, companies including HTC, LG and ASUS are doing exactly the same with their flagships.
<br />
How is it done? You see, different benchmark apps (majorly for 
Android iOS) are available at Play Store to demonstrate how the 
investigated Android device will perform in varying conditions. In case 
of the Note 3 as soon as the benchmark was started, the phone’s 4 cores 
kicked in at a full speed of 2.3Ghz which gave it a 20% speed boost and 
helped it thrash the similarly-specced LG G2.
<br />
When those culprit lines of code were identified and were removed
 from the benchmark app, the result was considerably less overwhelming 
then before.
<br />
This new report, however, identifies even more phones including the LG G2 (yes, no one’s the underdog <i>here</i>), HTC One, One Mini, ASUS Padfone Infinity, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and the new Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 as the culprits.
<br />
AnTuTu and Vellamo were the apps which saw most tempering attempts, something expected given their acclaim.
<br />
The only companies which emerged as the innocent were Motorola, 
Apple and Sony that didn’t indulge themselves in such practises at all. 
<br />
Truth betold, not many people base their judgement of a product 
on benchmarks solely but still, fooling users and critics alike into 
believing that a product is better than it is isn’t a good thing to do, 
by any means.</div>
