dollars, has now bought Fiverr.PK domain, we have confirmed with the 
sources.<br />
Fiverr.PK was previously held by Muhammad Ali Salim, who was 
contacted by Fiverr.com for legal transfer of the Fiverr.PK domain. the 
value of .PK domain for Fiverr is not disclosed by the the parties.<br />
Ali Salim confirmed RexHacker that he has transferred the domain to Fiverr.<br />
Considering the amount of users available on Fiverr.com, it is likely
 that company may start local version of its globally acclaimed service.<br />
The trend of local services for Pakistan from multinational internet firms is picking up.<br />
Pakistan, with its growing internet population, is considered a solid

Pakistan’s first enterprise cloud service provider RapidCompute 
announced today that it has recently achieved ISO/IEC 27001 security 
certification for providing cloud services.<br />
The audit was carried out by SGS SSC, a reputed global leader in the Systems and Certification market.<br />
The ISO 27001 standard is awarded to organizations who can 
demonstrate that necessary controls and measures are in place to address
 data confidentiality, integrity and availability. Any organization that
 wishes to obtain this certification has to be formally audited and 
certified compliant with the ISO/IEC 27001 standard.<br />
Commenting on the achievement, RapidCompute’s Chief Executive 
Officer, Mr. Danish A. Lakhani said, “At RapidCompute, one of our key 
priorities is the security of our customer’s information and business 
continuity. To ensure that our security standards are at par with 
international best practices, the ISO/IEC 27001 certification was 
crucial”.<br />

 re-verification of cellular subscribers will save telecom companies, 
Universal Service and Government of Pakistan around 88 million dollars a
 month or 1.05 billion dollars a year by curbing grey international 
incoming traffic.<br />
In addition the re-verification will help seizing of tons of social 
crimes that are causing irreparable damage to society and the nation.<br />
This is only possible if re-verification of entire cellular base of 
the country is carried out in a fool-proof manner, and without any 
leakages or flaws (probably the body responsible for development of 
system will have to keep continuous eye on loopholes).<br />
It can be biometric re-verification, where each and every cell user 
will have to record his/her thumb impression to be able to use cellular 
services, or any other method that should cent percent guarantee the 
rightful ownership of each and every cell phone user.<br />
As per estimates, there are around 1 billion illegal international 
minutes per month landing into Pakistan compared to 500 million legal 
traffic minutes per month, causing telcos a loss of around 63 million 
dollars a month plus a 25 million dollar per month loss to Universal 
Service Fund.<br />
It merits mentioning here that each international incoming minute 
earns the telecom operators USD 0.0625 while another USD 0.029 is saved 
for Universal Service Fund.<br />
Clearly a lot of revenue for government can also be saved through taxing this income.<br />
It is no secret that entire illegal international telephony is routed
 through illegal and unregistered SIMs, which will become impossible if 
each and every SIM is tied with a human being through a bio-metric 
re-verification.<br />
That is, once all the SIMs are registered to recognizable and 
traceable owners, there won’t be a way to route international incoming 
voice traffic to local networks.<br />
Not only this, countless number of social crimes such as wrong and 
anonymous calls, SPAM messages, spreading scandals via MMS and fake 
rumours via SMS, fake lotteries, phone thefts, extortion, kidnapping and
 various other usual and unusual crimes will be harder to commit or 
tracking them will require only a single click.<br />
If you imagine each and every crime mentioned in above line has 
become nuisance for our society. Consider how wonderful it could be to 
get rid of these.<br />
Importantly, if you notice, I didn’t mention terrorism; that’s 
because terrorists will switch their communication channels to avoid 
identity. They may start using Viber, Whatsapp or maybe their in-house –
 self developed — apps for communication.<br />
Our government and law enforcement agencies will have to figure out 
other ways to tackle terrorism instead of blaming the telecom industry. 
But yes, re-verification is necessary to avoid so many other mis-deeds 
of our society.<br />
P.S. In addition to re-verification of cellular users, Vfone, 
worldcall and all other wireless operators should also re-verify their 
customers to attain up-mentioned results.</div>

Pakistan
 Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has self imposed a target of 
attaining 2 million fixed and wireless broadband subscribers in Pakistan
 by end of year 2013, said a letter by Mr. Walid Irshad, CEO and 
President, PTCL, sent to company employees recently.<br />
Company had achieved 1 million broadband customers in May 2012.<br />
Mr. Irshaid was confident that company will be able to get 2 million 
broadband customers by year end. He emphasized that commercial and 
regional teams will have to play their role in achieving the target.<br />
President and CEO of PTCL also revealed that minimum speed for DSL or
 fixed broadband users will be 4mbps by December 31st, 2013. He said 
that all 1Mbps and 2Mbps will be upgraded by the year end.<br />
Company is, however, struggling with its end-to-end copper media that
 limits the capacity and quality of broadband connections. Company is 
aggressively working towards replacing the conventional copper lines 
with fiber-optic cables.<br />

Recently offered re-connect campaign by PTCL – that offers 50 percent discount on broadband and fixed line rent – is apparently the part of efforts towards achieving the said goal.<br />
A similar campaign was offered last month for Evo and Evo Wingle users that offered 50% lifetime discount on monthly rentals for both the devices. PTCL said that it added 100,000 EVO customers through the promotion.</div>

Broadband has become the main driving force for PTCL resulting into 
main revenue-generation source for the company for past two years.<br />
It maybe recalled that PTCL recently signed with a consortium for building-up for another under-sea submarine cable
 to be completed by 2015. The new submarine cable system is likely to 
add company’s overall bandwidth capacity and redundancy. PTCL has 
currently three under-sea cables linking Pakistan with the outer world.</div>

The iPhone 5C was undoubtedly the more anticipated version of the

The battery of the iPhone 5C is not-disclosed right now but can last 
10 hours during 3G talk-time and 250 hours on standby. Bluetooth 4.0,

connectivity.<br />
<b>Pricing and Availability</b><br />
The price of the iPhone 5C is set at $99 and $199 on contract for 16 
and 32 GB versions. At launch, it will cost around 70,000 PKR in 
Pakistan but that figure will settle down later. Optional cases will 
cost $29.<br />
As you might’ve noticed, the iPhone 5C is a lot like the phone it’s 
replacing. It does bring a new design however and maybe that will be one
 of its key selling factors. Being an Apple product, it is priced highly
 and of course, you can buy a 4S or a used 5 for much cheaper but for 
those who are buying an iPhone and planning to keep it longer, the 5C is
 probably your safer bet.</div>
