Don’t make me tell you that the realization in the middle of the 
market that you’ve forgotten your keys at home is an unpleasant feeling.
 Because it is. If you’re one of those unlucky kind who are prone to 
misadventures like these, perhaps Nokia can help you. <br />

It has announced a new accessory called Treasure Tag that attaches to
 your keys, or wallets, or whatever to remind that you’re forgetting 
something dear.

Nokia Treasure Tags connect to your phone via NFC or Bluetooth. 
It is powered by a replaceable coin cell. Nokia Treasure Tags will be 
available in a plethora of colours (since it is made by Nokia). Each 
phone can get paired with up to four tags.
<br />
In case you and your phone get too far from the Tag, both of them
 will emit a loud beep to remind you that luck is on your side. 
<br />
Don’t own a Windows Phone? You don’t need to. The apps which pair
 with the accessory are available on iOS as well as Android so you can 
use it even if you don’t own a Windows Phone.

As for the Microsoft party, only Lumias with the Black update installed are welcome.<br />

 can buy a large bundle of sticky notes for that money and use them for

Nokia Pakistan today officially announced its top of the line Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 phablets in Pakistan.<br />

Both the devices were already retailing in the market but it was only
 today that Nokia launched them along with the announcement of a reality
 show on the theme of traveling named <i>Kuch Kar Dikha</i>, in which 
Nokia took viewers on an exhilarating journey to witness the scenic 
beauty of Pakistan and put the natural splendor at the forefront.<br />

The Nokia Lumia 1520 offers the latest imaging innovation from Nokia –
 a 20-megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) 
enabling sharp images even in the dark as well as oversampling and 
zooming technology similar to the Nokia Lumia 1020.<br />

In addition to the new Nokia Camera, the Nokia Lumia 1520 offers a

microphones. With Microsoft Office built in, documents can be edited and
 shared easily for maximum productivity.<br />

The Nokia Lumia 1520 is available in yellow, white, black and glossy red with a official price tag of Rs. 78,600 in Pakistan.<br />

Another impactful offering is the new Nokia Lumia 1320 which sports a
 six-inch display, 5-megapixel camera and a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon™
 S4 processor. It comes in stunning colours which are a signature 
feature of the Nokia Lumia range and extends the Nokia Camera app to 
another price range. The Nokia Lumia 1320 will be available in orange,

Lumia 1320 is available for Rs. 38,600 in Pakistan. However, various

Nokia has announced a new Windows Phone in its Lumia lineup, the 
Lumia Icon. The phone is based on the Lumia 1520 and has virtually the 
same spec sheet.<br />

Lumia Icon comes with a 5.1″Super Sensitive ClearBlack AMOLED display
 with Full HD resolution. Lumia Icon isn’t the most compact of phones, 
being 9.8mm thick and 167g heavy.<br />

Under the hood, Lumia Icon features with a 2.2Ghz quad-core processor with 2 GB worth memory and 32 GB non-expandable storage.<br />

At the back lies the entire package’s main attraction: the coveted 
20.1 megapixel PureView camera. It comes with a 1/2.5″ BSI, f/2.4

The phone also comes with all the cool software apps which comes 
pre-installed on the 1520, and take the same duo of 5 megapixel and full
 resolution photos on pressing the shutter, the former meant for easier 
sharing.<br />

Connectivity options of Lumia Icon include WiFi 802.11ac, NFC, 
Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, FM Radio and microUSB 2.0. Lumia Icon also comes 
with a 2,420 mAh battery which might not sound much but wireless 
charging is supported.<br />

Availability and pricing details for international release are not disclosed yet.</div>

Nokia has plans to launch a <a href="http://rexhacker.blogspot.com/2013/09/nokia-lumia-running-on-android-used-to.html" target="_blank">long-rumoured</a> Android phone later this month at the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona, reported <a href="http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304104504579374893734151208" target="_blank">Wall Street Journal</a>.<br />

Phone is widely reported to be aimed at low-end segment of the developing markets.<br />

Report said that Nokia X – <a href="http://rexhacker.blogspot.com/2013/12/nokia-is-making-phone-with-android-app.html" target="_blank">code named Normady</a>
 – will come with a dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 4-inch WVGA 
screen, 512MB of memory, 4GB of storage, and a microSD card slot.<br />

Here maps and Mix Radio — will be offered along with Nokia’s own store 
with popular Android Apps, such as Skype, Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp 
etc..<br />

Nokia X will Finally change Nokia’s decision for not going Android. Company remained committed to Windows Phone operating system for its high-end smartphones.<br />

However, we have seen Nokia testing various other home-grown 
operating systems for its low-end phones for developing markets. Android
 on a low-end phone from Nokia seems in-line with this long-running 
policy.<br />

Nokia’s hardware run by Android phone would be an interesting 
proposition. This may not only revive the brand, which was sold to 
Microsoft last year, but may also help result into faster adoption of 
smartphones in developing markets, especially if phone is priced well.</div>

Nokia has released its “Black” update for Lumia smartphones 
worldwide. The update brings several enhancements and nifty, little 
features for people using the Finn’s Windows Phones.<br />

The first among them is the App Folder, which allows you to group

Start Screen. Bluetooth Low Energy is enabled for the complete Lumia

Pakistani Lumia users have already received Black Update for their

Nokia has announced the availability of the Nokia Lumia 1020 all over Pakistan.<br />

The Lumia 1020 is claimed by Nokia as one of the sharpest possible 
image producers, as compared by any digital camera — thanks to Nokia’s 
PureView technology, including a second generation 41 megapixel sensor, 
ZEISS optics with six lenses and optical image stabilization; allowing 
people to capture, edit and share photos and videos of professional 
quality.<br />

The phone is available at all Nokia Care Centres and partner franchises across Pakistan.<br />

Not long ago, <a href="http://rexhacker.blogspot.com/2013/09/jolla-phone-compatible-with-android.html" target="_blank">we told you about the Jolla phone</a>, made by a company out of Finland run by ex-Nokia employees, who took over the abandoned Meego platform of the company.<br />

Now, after months of wait, the phone is finally being put up for sale
 for about $550. That’s around 60,000 in Pakistani rupees which is 
understandably a lot.<br />

The team, however, says that it has been overwhelmed by the reaction 
which the product has been getting up till now. According to them, 
they’ve secured orders from more than 130 countries so that alone says a
 lot regarding the kind of support and following Meego still garners.<br />

Of course, Meego is dead, but from its ashes the Sailfish OS running 
on the Jolla phone has risen. The Android-compatible mobile operating 
system – meaning that it can run Android apps — is based on Linux and 
takes a lot of inspiration from its former self.<br />

It is gesture-based, to begin with, and there are no physical keys on
 the front of the phone, just like on the N9. Swiping from the bottom 
opens up the notifications, swiping from the top closes apps (or locks 
from the homescreen) while doing the same thing from the sides takes you
 to the homescreen.<br />

The center-point of all this will be the ‘other half’. The back cover
 of the Jolla, expands from providing just protection and cover to 
having much wider reach and impact.<br />

It customizes software to an incredible extent. The average covers 
change just the color schemes but much more will be coming as the 
community expands. Artists will come out with their own back covers 
which will provide customization to the OS, there might even be covers 
with a larger LED Flash, batteries and even a physical QWERTY keyboard!<br />

Apart from that, the phone comes with rather subpar specs: A 4.5 inch
 ‘Estrada’ qHD display, a 1.4Ghz dual-core SnapDragon 400 processor, 8 
megapixel camera on the back and 1 GB RAM.<br />

The ‘Estrada’ is the name given to the vertical experience which the 
Jolla provides. You get the application store, pre-installed apps and 
lockscreen all linearly from the lockscreen, considerably cutting down 
time.<br />

Of course, no one can recommend to jump the boat and dump your 
current phone just yet but if the community gets the momentum going, who
 knows, the race to the top may be a 4-horse affair.</div>

Nokia has finally announced the successor to the most popular and of the most inexpensive Windows Phone in the world, the Lumia 520 in the Lumia 525.<br />

The handset might just be a temporary alternative to the aging Lumia 520 and as a result, is little different.<br />

On the front you get a 4 inch display with WVGA resolution. There’s no camera above the display for the second attempt either.<br />

On the hardware side, the biggest change that is being observed is 
the increase in RAM, from 512 MB to 1 GB, meaning more apps can be run 
now.<br />

Apart from that, you get the same 1Ghz dual-core SnapDragon S4

Phone 8 Black, which of course comes loaded with quite a lot of Nokia’s 
customization and apps.<br />

Nokia has jumped straight to a 41 Megapixel camera phone, when competition is wimbling around with under 10 MP camera phones. <br />

Nokia 808 PureView comes with Nokia’s new PureView technology,

 saying) to date and Nokia’s brand-new pixel oversampling technology.<br />

Pixel oversampling technology is vital to discuss here as it will 
allow you to switch between pixels, to make sure that long and close

According to a report, Nokia will be launching its next tablet dubbed 
Lumia 2020 alongside the Lumia 1820 smartphone, at MWC 2014.Nokia 
Power User has revealed that Nokia will be expanding its tablet line-up with the
 launch of the Lumia 2020, believed to be the 8-inch tablet previously 
leaked with the codename <a href="http://gadgets.ndtv.com/tablets/news/nokia-illusionist-tablet-with-8-inch-display-windows-rt-in-the-works-report-441664">Illusionist</a>.<br />
Earlier, a report had suggested the same <a href="http://gadgets.ndtv.com/tablets/news/nokia-illusionist-tablet-with-8-inch-display-windows-rt-in-the-works-report-441664">specifications for 
the Illusionist tablet</a>, saying it would feature an 8-inch display. The 
report also claimed that the alleged Nokia Illusionist tablet would be 
powered by a Qualcomm processor and would run Windows RT 8.1.<br />
Further,
 the tipster suggests that the Lumia 2020 will be powered by a Qualcomm 
Snapdragon 800 processor and would also feature full-HD resolution 
display (just like the Lumia 2520). This would mean the Lumia 2020 will have a higher pixel density when
 compared to Lumia 2520 tablet, and in addition would come with stylus 
support. If the rumour turns out to be true, the alleged Nokia Lumia 
2020 tablet would become the first tablet from Nokia

Nokia already forayed into the tablet segment with the launch of its 
first Windows RT tablet, the Lumia 2520 at Nokia World in October. The 
Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet runs Windows RT 8.1 and comes with a 10.1-inch

Moreover,

 the Finnish company decided to join forces with Microsoft, Nokia has 
been steadily releasing a slew of Windows Phones into the market 
covering various price points. We have seen devices like the Lumia 920 
and the Lumia 820 in the past, which took care of the high-end of the

Today we have the Lumia 720 with us, which sits bang in the 
middle of Nokia’s Lumia range and is a mid-range device with enough 
features to attract those who don’t want to spend too much but want 
something more than a budget device. Let’s see how well it performs. <br />
<b>Design</b><br />
Nokia has history of making great looking and the Lumia 720 is no 
different. The phone takes on the appearance of the more expensive Lumia
 920 and looks really good, particularly the red version pictured here. 
Unlike some of the other Lumia models, the 720 has a unibody 
construction and the polycarbonate on the back fuses effortlessly with 
the glass on the front. <br />

The front has the Gorilla Glass 2 stretching from top to bottom and 
housing the display roughly in the middle. As with the previous Lumia 
phones, there is a sizable bezel around the screen, particularly below 
with the three keys, and it does tend to make the display look smaller 
than it is. Above the display are the earpiece and the front facing 
camera. <br />

On the right, the phone has the volume control keys, power keys and 
two-step camera shutter key. Having the power key on the side instead of
 the top is convenient but having it on same side as the volume keys 
means you often end up pressing one when you want the other. Having it 
on the other side would have reduced the confusion. <br />
On top is the 3.5mm headphone jack. Since the phone has a unibody 
design, the card slots are on the outside, with the micro SIM slot on 
top and microSD slot on the left, both operated using the provided tool.
 On the bottom is the micro USB port. <br />

On the back is the 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash. A secondary 
microphone can be seen just above the flash. Near the bottom are the 
connectors for the snap-on wireless charging cover and loudspeaker. The 
snap-on cover is a separately sold accessory and not part of the 
standard equipment. It adds extra size and bulk to the phone, not to 
mention makes it look worse, for the convenience of wireless charging. <br />
The hardware has a nice feel and fits well in your hand. The matte 
red unit we received looked nice but was a tad slippery, which was 
exacerbated by the curvy body. The phone, however, feels rock solid 
despite the plastic construction and should be able to take a few drops 
without any issues. <br />
Overall the design and build of the Lumia 720 are very impressive and
 although it is only a mid-range device it has a premium feel to it that
 surpasses that of many expensive phones. <br />
<b>Display</b><br />
The Lumia 720 has a 4.3-inch, 800 x 480 resolution ClearBlack LCD. 
The ClearBlack technology improves outdoor visibility by employing a 
polarizing filter that makes the display easier to see even under direct
 sunlight. <br />
The 720 also uses a couple of software tweaks to improve the 
visibility under bright light by changing the color and brightness of 
the panel. The image no longer looks natural but if you’re just trying 
to look at text or a map under sunlight then it shouldn’t be too much of
 an issue. <br />
Lastly, the Lumia 720 also employs the super-sensitive touch that we 
first saw on the Lumia 920. Once enabled, this lets you use the 
touchscreen even through gloves or pretty much anything, for that 
matter. <br />
Speaking of image quality, the display on the Lumia 720 is actually 
quite good. The colors, brightness, contrast, viewing angles and 
sunlight legibility are all impressive. Only issue is the WVGA 
resolution, which makes some of the fonts look rough, especially while 
scrolling. Still, for most parts the display on the Lumia 720 is quite 
satisfactory. <br />
<b>Hardware, Software and Performance</b><br />
The Lumia 720 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8227 SoC with a 
1GHz dual-core Krait CPU and Adreno 305 GPU. In terms if memory, it has 
512MB of RAM and 8GB of storage space, out of which only about 3GB is 
available to the user. You’ll be glad to know then that the phone also 
has a microSD card slot. In terms of connectivity, the phone has 
3G/HSPA, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ab/g/n, NFC, A-GPS and GLONASS. <br />
The software is the same old Windows Phone 8. Released over a year 
ago now, the OS is already starting to feel long in the tooth and 
Microsoft’s glacial pace at updating it isn’t helping matters. In its 
current version, Windows Phone would have been great four years ago but 
feels severely out of touch with what’s going on in the rest of the 
smartphone world. Whatever is the next version it couldn’t come soon 
enough. <br />
Beyond the core operating system, Nokia has usual has installed its 
own range of apps and service. There is the excellent Nokia Here maps 
application, along with turn-by-turn voice navigation with Nokia Drive. 
Then there is the Nokia Music service for free streaming of Indian and 
international music, Cinemagraph for taking pictures with moving 
elements, Panorama for, well, panorama shots, Smart Shoot that takes 
multiple shots and lets you choose the best one, and a couple of others.
 Nokia has also installed a few third party apps, such as BIGFLIX, 
BookMyShow, Cosmopolitan, Hike, TripAdvisor and Zomato. As usual, you 
can choose to uninstall all of these, if you wish. <br />
Nokia’s applications are what set their Windows Phone devices apart 
from everyone else’s (that and the fact that every else seems to have 
pretty much given up at this point). Nokia does a good job of making up 
for Microsoft’s inadequacies to quite an extent. <br />
Unfortunately, Nokia can’t make up for everything and as before, 
Windows Phone still lags behind when it comes to third party apps. It’s 
disappointing that even after three years this is still an issue but 
that’s just how it is. If you’re not a big app or games person and only 
need the basic apps to get through your day, you should be fine. More 
demanding users would still be advised to look at iOS or Android. <br />
In terms of performance, the Lumia 720 is in line with other Windows 
Phone devices. The UI is as smooth as ever, although occasionally it 
would hiccup in odd places. The menu in the camera app, for example, 
always lagged every time it was brought up. <br />
As with other Lumia phones, the 720 comes with additional options in 
the Settings menu, such as for the display and network settings. These 
are not part of the core OS and added separately by Nokia through. Due 
to this, there is a distinct lag when you open them, complete with a 
loading screen. On surface, they look like any other settings item so 
the lag is likely to confuse an average user who doesn’t know what Nokia
 has been up to. It would be better if Nokia works on making the 
integration more seamless by getting rid of the loading screens. <br />
The Lumia 720 comes with 512MB of RAM, which other than making a 
handful of apps incompatible with the device also makes it easy to run 
out of memory during multitasking. It’s not difficult to choke the phone
 by running a few apps in the background while web browsing. This 
usually results in the phone either closing the apps or closing browser 
tabs. <br />
Performance in gaming is a mixed bag. In certain games such as Temple
 Run there was noticeable lag whereas Asphalt 7: Heat worked fine. It 
really depends upon the developers and how they optimize their apps. 
Unfortunately, most of them don’t really bother, which negatively 
affects the overall gaming performance. <br />
<b>Multimedia </b><br />
The Lumia 720 has a 6.7 megapixel camera, which is a rather odd 
resolution to have. The main attraction is the camera aperture, which at
 f/1.9 is the widest on a mobile phone camera till date. What this 
should result in is some good low-light photography and shallow depth of
 field. <br />

In terms of image quality, the Lumia 720 acquits itself quite well. 
Nokia is one of the best around when it comes to camera quality but it’s
 good to see the expertise trickle down to mid-range offerings as well. 
The images from the 720 are fairly detailed and noise-free with natural 
colors and sharpness. The large aperture doesn’t really result in a 
particularly shallow depth of field compared to phones with smaller 
apertures but then that is expected from such a small lens. <br />
In lowlight, the camera once again delivers impressive results, with 
genuinely usable images, helped no doubt by the wide aperture allowing 
more light in than on most camera phones. Of course, the aperture alone 
can’t do much, so it’s good that Nokia has paired the optics with a good
 sensor as well. Low light images look pretty decent and have a 
surprisingly low-amount of noise. <br />
Videos were once again quite good. The phone records 720p videos, 
which, other than the usual wobble associated with a lack of 
stabilization of any kind, were sharp and smooth. <br />
The audio video performance is on par with other Windows Phone 
devices. The music player still won’t let you play FLAC files and the 
video player cannot play anything other than MP3, that too without 
subtitle support. This barebones experience may have made sense back in 
2007 when the iPhone was announced but not anymore. The fact that you 
don’t even have decent apps to make up for this functionality makes 
things worse. <br />
The audio quality of the 720 is pretty good, both through the 
headphones as well as the loudspeaker. The single loudspeaker, despite 
its position is pretty loud even if you keep it on a surface. The 
headphone output can be altered as Nokia bundles an equalizer app within
 the main settings although it’s best to leave them disabled. Nokia also
 bundles a pair of earphones with the phone but they have to be perhaps 
the worse I’ve ever heard and don’t ever deserve to be taken out of the 
box. <br />
<b>Battery Life</b><br />
The Lumia 720 has a non-removable 2,000mAh battery. The battery size 
is the same as the one in the Lumia 920 and even bigger than what HTC 
provides with the 8X. Considering the slower processor, this has a 
profound effect on battery life. With regular usage, the Lumia 720 could
 get about two days of battery life, which has become incredibly rare 
these days. Even with heavy usage you’d still get over a day of usage, 
which is still pretty awesome. <br />
<b>Verdict</b><br />
There is a lot to like in the Lumia 720. The design is absolutely 
gorgeous and good enough to make you want to buy the phone on that merit
 alone. The display is also pretty good, despite the lower resolution. 
The camera is impressive, both indoors and outdoors and the battery life
 is outstanding. <br />
It’s not without its flaws, however. The first is Windows Phone 8, 
which is no longer a competitive operating system. It lags behind iOS 
and Android in both features as well as third party applications. Unless
 Microsoft gets its game together and releases some significant updates 
it is bound to fade into obscurity. <br />
Secondly, at <span class="WebRupee"> <span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: blue;">Rs. </span></span></span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: blue;">17,999</span></span>, the Lumia 720
 is quite expensive. You are paying nearly twice over the Lumia 520 and 
not getting a lot in return. Priced below <span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: blue;"><span class="WebRupee"> Rs. </span>15,000</span></span>, the Lumia 720 would have been easier to recommend but not so much at the current price. <br />
All things considered, if you’re someone who doesn’t use a lot of 
apps and manage to find a good deal, the Lumia 720 is a fine device and 
one of the best mid-range smartphones on the market today. Others are 
advised to look elsewhere. </div>

Nokia Lumia 800: A Phone That Survived Over Three Months Underwater!

From the aged Nokia 3310 to the latest Nokia Lumia range, Nokia has a
 legacy of producing the most hard-wearing and stout phones.<br />
The Nokia 3310 mobile phone which was released in the fourth quarter 
of 2000, considered to be one of the most indestructible and the 
best-selling phone of that year, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_mobile_phones#2000" target="_blank">selling 126 million units</a>.<br />

Yes! <a href="http://www.blogger.com/null" name="_GoBack"></a>You’ve heard it right, the story has recently gone viral on the Internet which came out from the Sweden’s <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=725135880838623&set=o.15719890979609&type=1" target="_blank">Roger Nilsson</a>, whose Nokia Lumia 800
 went for a plunge a few months ago in a lake. The conditions of the 
loss were not instantly known, but it was evidently found more than 
three months later, stuck between a couple of rocks.<br />
Roger posted this story on <a href="https://www.facebook.com/nokiasverige" target="_blank">Nokia Sweden’s Facebook Page</a>,
 stating that when he spotted his phone lodged between two rocks in the 
lake, it was covered with muck, shells and other waste. He cleaned it 
up, disassembled the whole handset and kept it on a radiator to dry, and
 charged it up.<br />
He claimed that his phone works completely fine without any apparent 
issues, and the battery lasts for a couple of days as usual.<br />
For the device which is not developed to survive in water, and is 
vulnerable to damage like any other regular smartphone in the market 
today is usually equals a death knell and If this story is true, then 
it’s quite an stirring achievement for a device that’s not even rated 
for underwater resistance.</div>

The Lumia 2520 isn't Nokia's First Tablet, Check Out the Lost Ones Here!

Last week, Nokia announced its “first” Windows tablet, the Lumia 2520.
 (Not many would’ve even given that aspect attention.) This means that 
while the Lumia 2520 is the company’s first tablet in years, it is far 
from being the first one.<br />
If you’re a Nokia fan, you already know about following devices that 
were marketed by Nokia as “Internet tablets”; these lost products 
started coming to market during 2005 with the 770. The last one (N900) 
came in 2009.<br />
What’s more interesting is that all of them came with a resistive 
touchscreen, two years before Apple popularised the technology in 
portable devices.<br />

 and upgraded Meamo OS. At least the thing worked this time, getting 3.5
 stars out of 5 from Cnet.<br />

The N810 was the last Nokia product which got marketed as an Internet
 tablet and this time, it came with several big changes. Nokia N810 
featured a more pocketable design plus a slide-out backlit keyboard.<br />
The 4.1 inch resistive touchscreen display was still there, but it 
had 2 GB expandable memory, newer Maemo OS and a VGA camera this time. 
It was powered by a 400 Mhz processor on top of a 128 MB RAM. This 
product too got forgotten, however.<br />
<b>Nokia N900 (2009)</b><br />

The N900 wasn’t an internet tablet only, it was a phone and it ran on
 the same Maemo OS. In my opinion, that telephone functionality is the 
reason why the N900 is a reasonably popular device because you see, a 
Nokia product without a SIM card slot isn’t quite Nokia enough. 
Therefore, even the Lumia 2520 and the Nokia Booklet 3G come with with 
SIM card functionality.<br />
The touchscreen was smaller at 3.5 inches and it borrowed the same 
bizarre keyboard from the N97 but the N900 came with a Cortex A8 
processor, 256 MB RAM, 32 GB storage and a 5 megapixel front camera. At 
the time of its release, it was among the most powerful phones on the 
market.<br />
But its greatest legacy was its ability to run almost everything you 
threw at it. From Android to Windows Mobile, everything you throw at it 
runs. Hell, there are even tutorials of full-fledged Windows running on 
the device. This amazing capability will keep the N900 alive for a long 
time to come.<br />
These all internet tablets are obsolete and discontinued now and the 
future lies in Lumia 2520 and Windows. Pretty much all of these “lost” 
devices were failures and it will be worth watching whether the 2520 
will change that.<span style="font-weight: bold;"></span></div>

Nokia Lumia 1520 Specifications And Price

Just as rumored, the centerpiece of the Nokia Lumia 1520 is a 6-inch 
1080p screen. On the back you get a 20 MP PureView camera with OIS, 
while its beating heart on the inside is a quad-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 
800 processor (the first to be integrated on a Windows Phone). <br />
The Nokia Lumia 1520 has 2GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage and a microSD slot to expand that.<br />

The new 1080p 6-inch screen has a pixel density of 368 ppi and is a 
ClearBlack IPS LCD unit with Super Sensitive touch. It's covered by 
Corning Gorilla Glass 2 for protection and Nokia has worked hard on its 
legibility in direct sunlight. The larger screen real estate now allows 
for a third column of Live Tiles on the homescreen or you can simply 
enjoy more large-sized tiles.<br />
The Nokia Lumia 1520 takes after the Lumia 1020 design - it's 
actually like a supersized version of the 1020 sans the camera hump on 
the back. A part of the polycarbonate plastic used comes from recycling,
 so it's more environmentally friendly, too. <br />
Inside the new smartphone there is a 3400mAh battery (as compared to 
2000 mAh for the Lumia 1020), allowing for up to 32 days of standby and 
up to 124h of music playback.<br />
There is a price to be paid for that battery capacity. While the 
Lumia 1520 is quite slim at 8.7mm of thickness, it's really heavy at 
209g. In comparison, the 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is way lighter 
at 168 g, while the 6.4-inch Sony Xperia Z Ultra (with all the glass it 
has on the back) weighs around the same at 212g.<br />

Connectivity-wise, the Lumia 1520 comes with Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac with 
channel bonding, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, LTE up to 150 Mbps, HSDPA 
up to 42.2 Mbps and HSUPA up to 5.76 Mbps.<br />
The Lumia 1520 comes with four microphones on board, which not only 
get used for multimicrophone noise cancellation in calls, but also 
deliver Nokia's proprietary Rich sound recording. <br />
The Lumia 1520 uses a 26 mm wide angle 20MP PureView camera with 
6-lens Zeiss optics and a 1/2.5 inch BSI sensor. The camera has OIS and 
makes use of oversampling, which results into smaller res photos with 
less noise and also allows for lossless zooming. There is no xenon flash
 though, only a Dual LED one. Video recording maxes out at 1080p@30fps.<br />
Nokia has also revamped the Nokia Camera app, integrating the Nokia 
Smart Camera and the Nokia Pro camera functionality inside the regular 
camera UI and allowing for a seamless camera mode changing.<br />

 out all the photos you've taken on the HERE map. You can zoom in to 
specific locations and see the actual photos grouped by date of taking

cinemagraphs and Action shots (it would even animate the latter).<br />
A new app called <a href="https://beam.nokia.com/" target="_blank">Nokia Beamer</a> would also allow you to stream your smartphone's screen to any device with a web browser.<br />
Software-wise, the Nokia Lumia 1520 will come with the latest stuff 
that Microsoft and Nokia have on offer. It's Windows Phone 8 with a 
little something called Lumia Black and it includes all the latest 
software enhancements from both companies. It comes with stuff like 
Nokia HERE Drive+ with global free turn-by-turn navigation, true offline
 support and audible speed limit warnings, the new Nokia Camera app, the
 Nokia Storyteller app, the Nokia Beamer app, but also Microsoft's new 
suite of Bing apps and customized ringtones for individual contacts, 
something that hasn't been available on Windows Phone so far. The Lumia 
Black update premiers on the Nokia 1520, but will be available as an 
update to other Lumias in the beginning of 2014.<br />
The Nokia Lumia 1520 will launch in yellow, red, white, and black 
later this autumn, starting in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, the U.S. (an
 AT&T exclusive), France, Germany, UK and continuing to other

Nokia Announces Three Asha Phones, Two Lumia phones and a Tablet

alongside new accessories, Nokia experiences and third-party developer

 –  the Lumia 1520 and 1320.<br />
Nokia today also unveiled three new Asha models namely the Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503.<br />

The Nokia Lumia 925 introduces a metal design and showcases the
